Country Legend, Faith Hill Breaks Her Silence; Shares Heart Wrenching News. Let’s Pray

Since 1993, Faith Hill has been on the forefront of country music and has managed to fill our lives with uplifting melodies. As one of the most successful country artists of all time, Hill has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and she has expanded her singing career to take on the role of record producer as well. Hill and her husband, country singer, Tim McGraw have managed to live a fairly normal life while providing a humble environment for their three daughters.

But, recently, there has been some speculation that Hill may be undergoing treatment for throat cancer. The 49-year-old recently canceled a concert that had been scheduled for August 3rd, and according to a source, Hill’s close friends are concerned that she may be keeping her symptoms a secret.

On August 2nd, one day before the scheduled concert in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the following statement was issued…
“Under doctor’s advisement, Faith Hill has been put on two days of vocal rest and unfortunately, the Soul2Soul show in North Little Rock, AR at the Verizon Arena tomorrow is being canceled,” the statement read, according to Country Fancast. “Tim and Faith adore their fans and are so sorry to disappoint them.”
Allegedly, Tim McGraw is frightened that the problem may be serious and a source shared the following statement…
“Tim is beside himself. Both he and Faith are concerned that if her condition gets any worse, her golden voice will be silenced for good.”
New York Internist, Dr. Stuart Fisher, explained that throat cancer does affect the vocal cords early on in the disease.
“That’s the only way you might detect it, as you can’t really feel the larynx since there aren’t really any nerves there,” he said. “Someone like Faith Hill would no doubt see a throat specialist to have this checked out. If it’s not cancer, she could develop throat polyps, which can rupture, and really are a singer’s worst fear. Faith needs to take it easy.”
Hill and McGraw performed in Sacramento, California just a few days prior to the cancellation. According to concertgoers, Hill had appeared to be fine during that concert.

“Concerts like this are what I live for,” one concert-goer wrote on Twitter, according to The Sacramento Bee. And her fans continue to be supportive and show their love for the singer…
“Good lord, Faith Hill still has it. The look, the voice. Does she even age?!”
Throughout her career, Hill has been the recipient of five Grammy awards, her first three came in 2000 when she won Best Country Album for the song “Breathe.” She also received Best Female Country Vocal Performance for the same song and Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for “Let’s Make Love,” with husband, McGraw.

In 2002, Hill won Best Female Country Vocal Performance for her hit song, Cry. She and McGraw went on the receive another award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals in 2005, for the song “Like We Never Loved at All.”

If Hill does have throat cancer, her fans are hoping she makes a quick recovery and is back on the stage doing what she loves to do.
