After her “Friends” co-star Matthew Perry passed away, Lisa Kudrow considered adopting his dog.

Fans around the world are in mourning after Matthew Perry died this weekend at the age of 54.

Perry was best recognized for his role as Chandler Bing in the long-running comedy Friends. He formed a strong bond with his co-stars.

Following the actor’s death, one of his Friends coworkers is reportedly thinking about adopting Perry’s dog.

One of the many heartbreaking parts of Matthew Perry’s death was that he left behind his beautiful pet dog Alfred.

In January 2021, Perry introduced his pet doodle mix on Instagram with a shot that immediately won the hearts of followers: “Who’s cuter? “Do not respond to it,” the performer wrote.

After his demise, Alfred would definitely mourn his owner. Dogs are extremely emotionally aware creatures who appear to understand their masters’ deaths; in some cases, they even cry beside the grave.

Following Perry’s death, it is unclear who is looking for Alfred, but one Friends co-star is eager to step up and take the dog in.

Following Perry’s burial, Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe on the comedy, is considering adopting Alfred, according to a source close to the actress.

Lisa and the cast will be there at his funeral. According to the informant, Lisa is also considering adopting his beloved dog Alfred.

Perry’s death was said to have “baffled” Kudrow. The actor suffered with alcohol and opiate addiction throughout his career, but in recent years he has remained sober.

Perry’s body was located inside his hot tub. Police found prescription antidepressants and anxiety medications on the location, but no illegal narcotics. Despite the fact that the cause of death has not been officially declared, his co-stars believe they may have had a role.

The source was quoted as saying: “Although no one wants to believe it was medication – prescribed or not – of course that is a thought in their minds.” “They believe he had to take something that was incompatible with the warm water.”

Friends’ cast was extremely close both on and off screen, and Perry’s co-stars supported him during his difficulties with substance abuse.

“He has a tough version of this hideous disease,” Kudrow told The New York Times last year. “His determination to persevere, fight, and live” remains unwavering.

“I adore Matthew. We belong to a family. I realize I’m simply concluding by saying, “I’ll be there for you,” but it’s true. Whatever happens, I will always support him.

Although Kudrow’s choice to adopt Alfred remains uncertain, it would be a touching farewell to her Friends co-star to ensure his dog is happy ❤️.

Matthew Perry, rest in peace. Please tell the actor this story in their honour.
