Harrold recalls how, once they patched things up, their relationship felt refreshed and stronger than ever. “It was like hitting the reset button, but with real intention this time,” he shared. “They both stepped up their game. And then there was this Valentine’s Day dinner in 2008 that they asked me to put together – something they’d never done before. It caught me off guard because up until then, they were all casual about stuff like that.”

To Harrold, it was clear William was sending a message: “I’m in this for real.” Before the split, their time together was more laid-back – grabbing a bite here, chilling out there, nothing too formal. But post-reconciliation, William wanted to elevate things. Harrold had even floated the idea of serving them proper dinners earlier on, but they’d brushed it off with a laugh, saying they didn’t want any fuss.

Then, out of the blue, William came to him one day and said, “Alright, let’s do that dinner if you’re up for it.” And just like that, the spark was reignited. A few years down the line, we all know how the story unfolded – engagement, marriage, kids, and now they’re the picture of royal stability.
